Running

Movement is Medicine

After surgery, my body felt foreign to me. Movement became my way home. Whether it's a slow yoga flow to rebuild flexibility or a 5K run to prove my endurance, every step is a celebration of what my body can still do.

Fitness isn't just about the physical; it's the most powerful tool I have for mental clarity. It teaches me that I can endure hard things and come out stronger on the other side.

My Routine

Running

Training for the Buffalo Marathon 5K. It's not about speed; it's about the finish line.

Yoga & Mobility

Daily stretching to manage lymphedema risk and maintain range of motion after surgery.

Nutrition

Fueling my recovery with anti-inflammatory foods, while still enjoying the occasional Buffalo wing.

Mindset

Meditation and mindfulness to quiet the fear of recurrence and focus on the present moment.
